【GAICA】I have a card without an IC chip. I would like to switch to a card with an IC chip. What should I do?
回答
Please inquire to the GAICA Customer Service Desk .
We will carry out the card reissue procedures. (The card reissue fee is 1,100 JPY including tax.)
Note that use of the card you currently have will be stopped. Please wait for approximately two weeks for the new card to arrive.
• The card number will become a new number (it will change).
• The content of your contract, including your balance, transaction record, etc. will be transferred to the new card unchanged.
• When your new card arrives, please activate it.
* We will send the new card to your current address. Please note that we cannot deliver the new card to people who are currently living overseas.
