【GAICA】I made a deposit using the name of my parent as the depositor name. Furthermore, a delegation notification of the GAICA deposit procedures arrived from APLUS. What will happen to the loaded money?
If you submit a delegation notification of the GAICA deposit procedures (hereinafter, “delegation notification”) we can reflect the loaded money in the card balance.
About loading by a member of your family
A member of your family in Japan may load the GAICA card of a card member instead of the card member him/herself when he/she is overseas for study, etc., but under the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act it is necessary for the card member him/herself to submit a “delegation notification” in advance.
【Cautions】
Please note that in the case that there is no submission of the delegation notification, even if we receive a transfer (loading) to the GAICA card of the card member him/herself from his/her family member in Japan, we will not be able to reflect it in the card balance.
* The family members to whom delegation is possible are limited to the spouse, parents, grandparents, and children (over 18 years old, excluding high school students) of the card member him/herself.
* Only the family members stated in the delegation notification will be able to load to the GAICA card.
